Horse Portrait Wood Prints

These horse portrait art prints on wood canvas combine the best of No. 4 St. James’ classically composed photography with state of the art printing by Dallas-based Southern Herd Print & Design Co. 

Printed on beautiful American birch cabinet grade plywood, these prints, the “Brackettville” and the “Cameron”, present striking portraits of Texas horses, part of our extensive collection of original photos from across the Lone Star State.

The Brackettville features a horse that lives on the ranch of Texas saddle & tack maker Alamo Saddlery, in Brackettville Texas. We photographed this horse, shown in Alamo Saddlery’s gorgeous turquoise Wave Tack, for our 2013 book Texas Works, Products & Portraits of Talent. 

The Cameron features a horse that greeted us on a trip out to 44 Farms in Cameron, Texas. This amazing animal caught our attention with its stunning hazel-blue eyes. 

With their exposed wood grain background and clean edges, these prints are unusually versatile. They’re rustic enough to decorate the most authentic ranch house, yet would be equally at home in a metropolitan condo. 

The wood canvas is 1/2" thick, and includes a keyhole on the back for mounting. The prints are unframed, and are ready to hang as-is.
