We call this the Standard Issue Margarita Glass, although there’s not much “standard” about it. These glasses are quite exceptional, in fact: They’re heavy. They’re handblown in Mexico. And they’re festive, with your choice of Cabo Blue or Pepper Red rims. 

Sold in sets of two, these glasses are imported to Laredo, Texas from a glass blowing studio in Mexico, where each one is individually shaped. Because the glasses are handmade, their size, height, and even weight vary slightly from one glass to the next.

Empty, these glasses weigh about 1 pound each, and the basin's capacity is comfortably 12 oz. The glass stands about 6.5" tall. That's a big margarita, which is the same thing as saying that's a perfect margarita.
